Sooo, in an attempt to help a friend…I’m building a bookable cabin rental website. (hotel style layout)

Using Motopress Hotel Booking for the accommodations, WooCommerce as the gateway, and his merchant account attached to WooCommerce.

This is really not my wheelhouse, but watching the videos Motopress put out…just didn’t seem that hard. (and no luck with support there)

We have the upgraded WooCommerce extension which the booking plugin required we purchase. Now the gateway is set as WooCommerce in Motopress Hotel Booking….and WooCommerce shows our merchant account as our payment option. It all seems connected in the back end.

However, you click on “book”….it takes you to “confirm reservation”, you click on that, and it says your cart is empty??? This is where I am so lost!

I have changed themes, deactivated plugins, watched the motopress/woocommerce integration video and followed those steps.

I’ve tried adding different motopress and woocommerce shortcodes to the cabin listing. (trying to get them to the checkout page that way)

Tried adding the WooCommerce Accommodation widget. This will not let me activate it regardless of the theme I was trying. Must be a conflict in the setup…?

I have tried every Google search I can think of to figure out how to get these “accommodations” to link to the payment process that seems as if its all setup.

Lastly, a lot of bad words & prayers….hoping the latter will come through here. ??

It goes from “confirm reservation” too some sort of “cart is empty” message. (I’ve seen a few of them)

Would really appreciate some help here!

    Thanks in advance,
    Pam

    Thanks Steve!

It seems Motopress was trying to help, and my email server was not allowing the emails.

He emailed me directly after seeing this, and has not stopped “being available” to help since. I don’t see how I can go back into my original post to edit it…just wanted to let others know that when contacting them for support, it seems to work better if you use a more relaxed server such as gmail. (just an FYI)

Anyway, I appreciate them stepping up and feel much better about purchasing this plugin. ??
