    Hi there,

As indicated, the “Links are not crawlable” warning usually suggests that some links on your website may be formatted in a way that search engine bots cannot follow, which can affect your SEO.

To assist you further, could you please post your site URL here so that we can have a look? If you want it to remain private, you can also contact us via contact form. If you choose to reach out directly, please include a link to this thread.

    Thank you!

    Hi there, @dancaragea,

I checked your Jetpack settings, and everything seems to be okay as far as I can see. From your initial screenshot, I don’t seem to understand how Jetpack is involved in the “Links are not crawlable” error.

Can you expand on that and share any useful information that led to Jetpack? Also, can you check whether the issue keeps happening when turning Jetpack off or when turning other plugins off as well? I see you have an SEO plugin active whose settings might be interfering with the error you flagged.

As mentioned by Bruce, if you prefer keeping the info private for privacy reasons, get in touch to us via contact form, and mention this thread so we cann connect the dots.

Let us know what you find out!

sd-link-color is from Jetpack, please see .jetpack-likes-widget-wrapper and other.

P.S. I prefer to help other users with this topic, too.

    Hi @dancaragea

Could you try deactivating the Likes feature temporarily to see if this resolves the issue? This would help determine if the warning is directly related to Jetpack’s Likes feature.

    Please check in any Cpanel: plugins/jetpack/modules/likes/style.css – line 56 (div.jetpack-likes-widget-wrapper .sd-link-color {font-size: 12px;}

    OR

    search with view-source, in any of my posts, for sd-link-color. You will find something like this: <div class=”sharedaddy sd-sharing-enabled”><div class=”robots-nocontent sd-block sd-social sd-social-icon-text sd-sharing”><h3 class=”sd-title”>Partajeaz? pe:</h3><div class=”sd-content”><ul><li class=”share-facebook”> ….. <h3 class=”sd-title”>Apreciaz?:</h3><div class=’likes-widget-placeholder post-likes-widget-placeholder’ style=’height: 55px;’><span class=’button’><span>Apreciaz?</span></span> <span class=”loading”>?ncarc…</span></div><span class=’sd-text-color’></span><a class=’sd-link-color’></a></div></div>

Hi @dancaragea, thanks for the additional info. This warning was previously reported to our team: https://github.com/Automattic/jetpack/issues/30094.

Although there’s a warning, as far as I understand, it doesn’t appear to be an SEO problem in itself. If you disable the Jetpack Likes module and Social Sharing (Jetpack > Settings > Sharing), does it cause a change in the SEO score? How is this warning impacting your site?

    Thread Starter Dan Caragea

    (@dancaragea)

I followed the link provided. Impact: > 50%, but issue has been marked as stale. I do not understand why. It is a SEO problem generated by Jetpack which affects SEO score. Please solve it.

The Github issue is still open, the Stale flag was removed.

In order to assess the priority of the issue, could you help us understand how the warning impacts your site?

    What’s the current SEO score?

How does the SEO score changes if you disable the Jetpack Likes module and Social Sharing (Jetpack > Settings > Sharing)?

    Thread Starter Dan Caragea

    (@dancaragea)

For same URL (both for mobile and desktop): SEO score is 92 with Jetpack enabled and 100 with Jetpack disabled.

Hi @dancaragea, thanks a lot for testing, it helps to provide more context for our devs.
For now, I’m sorry to say there’s no immediate easy workaround as the fix needs to happen in the code, so depending on whether the SEO score is a deal-breaker, you might have to decide on whether to keep the Likes button or remove it until the issue is addressed. (If you create a GitHub account, you can subscribe to get updates on the issue).
