• In some of my posts on my blog, I need to direct the reader to other places on the net for further information, but I am not able to make it work.
Now, this is what I do:
This is an example: For example if I write about amerika, and about Christofer Colombus, I want to give a link to more information about Colombus.
I find the page on the web, and copy the URL link.
Then I highlight Cristoffer colombus in my bloggpost and push the link “buton” (above)
Then I paste the URL link in the link “window”, and set the target “window” to open in a new window.
    and push “uppdate”.

The words Christofer Colombus is now blue, with an underlining.
but when I touch the link I got this message : The webpage “www.http cannnot be found.
I have tried oyher links, but the same message comes upp.
    what do you sugest.
There is also mentioned a “refresh “button, but I do not find this.
I need help, because it is important for me to get this to work properly.

    Best regards

  • could be related to permalinks, theme, or plugins to start

    1. set permalinks to default, test your site see if things work. If they are better, set your permalinks back to custom
    2. if that doesn’t work, test by switching to default theme temporarily
    3. if that doesn’t work test with all plugins inactive
