For some reason, even though there is a link button in the wiziwig editor in the long description, and I can see it working in the preview. In the front end when published or edited, the links within the long description does not show up.

I have disabled all other plugins and used wordpress default theme. And updating the plugin to its most recent version yet still the problem persists.

    Please advise,

    Hi @mmccrea

Thank you for reaching out about this.

There is a setting in the Long Description field to allow HTML — have you tried that? We have some documentation on this here: https://businessdirectoryplugin.com/knowledge-base/manage-form-fields/#Field-specific_settings

Please try that and let me know if you run into more issues.

I just messaged the support team about this and then thought I’d come here to see if anyone else had the problem. Originally I thought mine was with all bold and heading tags but it was links too. Posts were all formatting correctly.

The problem has been solved by looking at the form fields as suggested in the link above. The allow html box was unticked. I don’t recall making any changes to the fields. Is it possible upgrading the plugin could have affected this and unticked the box? I have been using the plugin for years but the site has been unattended for a while and only just been updated through the last two versions.

    Anyway fixed! Thank you.
