  • That link works for me in Firefox.

    None of the quotes on your quotes page are hyper-linked, including the one you use as an example. And there are no anchor tags anywhere near those quotes, not even broken ones.

    Weird! In Firefox 3.5, the 3rd quote in the list is a correctly marked-up link. In IE8, there’s no link markup at all!

    I’m looking at in FF 3.5.7 on Slackware– no links. No links in FF or IE8 on Windows7 either.

    Firefox 3.5.7 on XP:

    <h2 style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://friends-poker.com"><em><strong>“A person should gamble every day, because think of how bad it would be to walk around being lucky and not know it” – Robert Turner</strong></em></a></h2>

    OK. That is really strange. FF 3.5.7 on Slackware:

    <h2 style="text-align: center;">
     <em>
       <strong>“A person should gamble every day, because think of how bad it would be to walk around being lucky and not know it” – Robert Turner</strong>
     </em>
    </h2>

    I wonder if it is those un-encoded curly quotes? Ok… hmmm… when I view-source I see un-encoded quotes but the validator sees this: & # 8220 ; (Spaced to get the code to show) But still no anchor tags.

    The problem was that the link was not in page even though it was in the edit page.
    currently working on fixing another problem – the sidebar has gone wild!
    any suggestions?
