Links for WooCommerce products?

Thank you for reaching out. I tried searching for your ticket in our help desk software, but I couldn’t seem to find it so it’s possible it never reached our inbox. The free version of Pretty Links won’t automatically convert your existing affiliate links into pretty links (i.e. cloak/shorten them), but our Pro version does offer a URL replacement feature which will convert all of your existing links into pretty links so you can use this to cloak your affiliate links in WooCommerce.

thanks for your answer! That may have been the case.

That sounds very good. One last question: I do use affiliate links for the product and have a little snippet so that a click on the product picture does not open the detail page but directly redirects to the affiliate partner. Will that be a problem or is this independent of the cloaking function with your plug in?

Hi Stephan,

Thank you for getting back to me. Your snippet shouldn’t interfere with our link cloaking, but you’ll want to make sure you’re redirecting users to the cloaked/shortened link instead of the regular affiliate link otherwise our reporting won’t pick up on the click.
