'Links from other sites' url ending: wp-login.php

    If I click on the link, it takes me to that site’s login page and the sites appear genuine.

    None of the sites linked in this manner have any association with the content of my site. I discovered these links through Awstats (plugins: geoipfree).

    In fact, many other external links end .ru and these ones I have chosen to IP deny. Though the links still appear on the screen. Hopefully, next month they will disappear. I’m not sure if this will help my problem. I don’t want spam/porno/etc sites linking to mine, or using my site to improve their rankings. I have over 160 of such links to my site listed. Hopefully, nothing worse is being attempted, but I have no idea. Any suggestions to combat these problems will be welcome!
