Links from sliders

I really like the Tempera theme. A lot of thought has gone into making changes simple for a newcomer like myself. Changes that have required CSS modification with other themes, are integrated right into the Tempera theme itself.
My problem is probably inanely simple but I cant seem to make this work:

I want the 3 sliders on the Presentation page to link to other pages on my site. In the presentation page setup there is a spot to specify a link for each slider but when I enter the page link (copied from the browser eg. https://mywebpage/?page_id=6) nothing happens. The link shows as going to https://mywebpage/page#. Is there a correct syntax to enter the link in order to have the sliders link to other pages on my site?

OK my first post and I have to retract. Entering the links as described above now seems to be working.It didn’t all day….but there ya go. I also have another question about opacity. This one is valid..I hope. Starting a different post here.
