Links from the sidebar to the main blog area….?

Ok well this is my first time using a wordpress layout for my site and i want to be able to hav links on the sidebar e.g me, you etc. I have added them, but when i click them it just fills up the whole window with the page.

Now heres the prob i want it to open within the blog area/frame, at the moment im using the normal link format
