Links in main menu, no popup

    Updated to WordPress 5.2.2 this morning. After the update external links in my main menu no longer have the pop up, they just proceed to the external site. Links inside my page do get the pop up if they are external. We are on version 1.2.2 of the plugin. I did clear the page cache after the 5.2.2 update.

    Thanks for using Casper’s Leave Notice. I’m happy to help resolve this issue.

    Did you by chance do a theme update recently as well? I’ve noticed in that past that HTML markup can break this plugin’s functionality, which is usually handled by the theme code.

    In any case, can you provide a link to your site? I’m happy to look at the markup and provide a fix.

    No, there hasn’t been a theme update recently.

    If you go under the Records Search section, there is an external link to our GIS. If you scroll to the bottom of the home page there is also a GIS link in the “Popular Resources” section.

    It looks like there is a conflict with the Max Mega Menu plugin. I’ve installed it on my development environment and will play around over the next few days, see if I can find a solution, and keep you posted.

    @hmmblah,

    I think I found the solution. If you go to Mega Menu -> General Settings, there is a setting called Unbind JavaScript Events. Set it to No.

    Let me know if that works for you.
