I’m a new WordPress user, and I have uncovered something I don’t know how to fix. My current blog has several link categories in the sidebar. I should also mention that I am using the default “Kubrick” theme.

When I switch to another theme (Falling Leaves is the one I’d like to use), the categories I created do not show up. But when I switch back to the default theme, they appear just fine. What do I need to change (or what am I doing wrong) to get these categories to show up as intended?

  • Check the sidebar template on the theme you want and see what tags it is using for links. Probably you just need to update the tag to show what the default does.

Thanks oriecat. That’s just where I needed to look!
