Links in WordPress

  • Hello,

    as quite new to WordPress I have the following question:

    To create links to pages within WordPress, the pages have to be published. Otherwise they will not appear in the respective selection box.

    But if you publish the pages, they are visible worldwide, at least if the link is known. But this is exactly what I do not want to have during the development of a new site.

    Do I see a problem here that does not exist or do I misunderstand something?

    Just make your new website under development mode, you can use this plugin www.ads-software.com/plugins/coming-soon/, or just make custom links in your appereance>menu and fill with “#” if your visitor clicks the link they can going anywhere.

    many thanks for the hint. With “coming-soon” it works well and the lite version is sufficient.
