Links inside the popup bubble

    I’m really enjoying the plugin but am having issues with links that I place inside the popup bubbles.

    First, any link that I place that does not go to a new window opens the website inside of the map. I see the a site within a site! Very odd.

    Second, is there any way to do anchor links? I would love to place “#internal_link” in to the URL field and it become a link to a name elsewhere on the page. The source code shows it correctly but the result on the page prepends the wordpress site’s url.

    Sorry for the delay.
    Glad to hear you are finding it useful.
    You need to specify that links should open in new window.
    When you insert a link via the WYSIWYG editor, you should see drop down to select “new window”.
    I will have a look at the internal link and see if we can get that working for the next release, which should be this weekend.

    You can do internal links via our Public Cloud (https://studio.mapfig.com) using the MapFig Studio WordPress Plugin.
    I will look at adding anchor links to stand-alone as well.

    We’ll work on adding anchor links in subsequent releases.
    For now, there is the free public cloud.

    try to create a link from sourcecode mode with target value _parent
