• I have search all over the forums to see if there is a way to do this and I haven’t had much luck. What I would like to do is have the link categories show up in a drop down menu. See example here:

    https://www.bewitchedbybooks.com

    You’ll see on the left menu the classic drop down menus for the Archives and Categories. I would like to do the same with the link categories on the right. I have attempted to edit the Codex used to get the Archives to do this, but haven’t had much luck. Has anyone else had any luck?

    Thanks for any help!

  • I don’t see the Links on the example site given by you in a dropdown. Neither did you.

    So, there might be a reason for it. Like… there is no tool to do it, at least not at this moment.

    Thanks for the quick response. Maybe I’m not explaining myself well. On the left navigation I have Categories and Archives in the dropdown selection menu. On the right navigation I am using the WordPress Link Manager and the

    <?php get_linksbyname('AuthorBlogs, '
    <li>', '</li>
    ', '', FALSE,
    'name', TRUE); ?>

    I was just wondering if anyone has been able to format them in the same way as the Categories & Archives. As you said there may be no tool to do it yet…..but it doesn’t hurt to ask. = ) Thanks again.

    Check out the NAVT menu plugin. I believe it will do much of what you ask. We use it on our site at Antiques, Collectibles and Auction News on the right sidebar.
