links not showing

    Is there any reason a link a hyperlink would be disabled in a post? I posted in one of my categories on my site and I tried inserted a link and the site just ignores the code when I view the post after click on the corresponding category in belongs to it. I do have a plugin that hides the category this post is in from showing on the main blog page.

    If I post a blog and it shows on the main page (as the most recent blog), the link is active. When viewing it through the archive, the text is still there, but the link is not active. Is there a setting for this?
