Links not working

    Hi there

    Love the concept for this plugin but for the life of me I just can’t make it work.

    I’m fairly new to WordPress so perhaps I have just used the wrong settings and this is an easy fix.

    The issue I am having is with the the gallery located at: https://www.twofortheworld.com/our-bucket-list-highlights/

    I have set the first two images in the gallery to link to URLs within the site, however, the links are just going to the image file and not the URL.

    I have used the following settings in the gallery (though I have also tested many others):

    Gallery Settings
    Link To – Media File

    Attachment Settings
    Gallery Link URL – have set this to the desired URL, including the https:// prefix
    Gallery Link Target – New Window
    Gallery Link OnClick Effect – Keep

    Would very much appreciate some help resolving this.

    Ok so on further testing I’m guessing the issue I have is that the plugin does not work with a WP Tiles gallery.

    Here’s the code I’m currently using:

    [gallery tiles="yes" grids="1-1" small_screen_grid="1 large" breakpoint="400" image_size="large" link="file" ids="4751,3716,3377,1224,2314,4104,3582,1206,4914,1446,1087,3794,4752,4219,4756,4763,4764,4765"]

    I can get the link URL to wok with a native WordPress gallery, but with my theme I can’t get the caption styling that I want.

    Ultimately I really like WP Tiles so would like to maintain that functionality so does anyone know if there is some way to make this plugin work with WP Tiles?

    Hi John. I just took over development of this plugin. Sorry you didn’t get a response before. It looks like your website is functioning now so I’m going to close this ticket but let me know if you still need assistance.

    Thanks for the response.

    For the most part I have things working well, although there still does seem to be an issue where selecting the “Tiled Gallery” tickbox in the edit gallery screen results in the links not working.

    Would appreciate your thoughts on what may be causing this?

    I am having the same issue with with WP Tiles and WP Gallery Custom Links – https://sophiespizza.ca/. It has been working fine since May and today I received an email from a user saying that the links don’t work anymore.

    If I unclick Tiled Gallery in the Edit Gallery box, the links work, but I lose my design.

    I would really appreciate it if you could look into why it no longer works.

    I’m having the same issue with WP-Tiles and links not working also with this plugin.

    Was fine up until a few weeks before Christmas.

    On multiple websites, so it’s a bit of a problem ??
