Links not working since updating

    This is weird. since updating, a lot of the links in the Dashboard page don’t work. For example, Settings. Only the general tab works – the others don’t even show up. Also, I can’t access Forum by clicking Help.

    Also, I would have done a search for my particular problem but the search bar does not show up.

    Any ideas?

    Hello World is back. Right?

    Assuming you mean after a re-install to a new database, then yes – you will see only the default Hello World post and not any of your previous posts. Do you now have access to all of the Admin menus?

    I just hate the thought of having my website down again. It is my business site and I look bad if the site is down.

    I am pretty sure everything worked before I imported the database because I remember changing a few settings etc. So, we know it’s the imported database. Now what?

    I think so. I imported the database using Backup in cpanel. Then, I opened mysql and entered dbname, username, password. Then opened config.php and entered the same info there.

    Is that good?

    No! Do not import your old database!

    Then how do I get my saved information in there? I need to know the next step.

    One step at a time. Carry out a re-install to a new database first. Do NOT import your old database.

    Do I have to delete the site now? Can I setup a new site without deleting my old one just now? I’ll follow your instructions for the new site and then delete the old one? Does that work?
