Links not working which is unusual

  • Ok… something strange is happening that has never happened before. I have made some corrections to a couple of my sites and when I follow the links on the menus they are not going where they need to. Yet when I hover over the links they appear to have the correct URL assigned to them. And, I have a couple of hyperlink texts that are not showing up as hyperlinks but when I view the code, they look fine. No errors are happening. Anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening? I’ve tried several computers and the same thing is happening.

    Changing URL link destinations in side nav bar and hyperlink text in content.

    Well, it should be fairly simple to fix it then just revert any changes you’ve made. Then start again on only one website if possible. When you see it working on one website, apply to others.

    I too am having the exact same problem. If you visit https://www.terrytrueman.com and go to the “Books” page you can see that each image and amazon button is a link. If you hover over each you can see the correct hyperlink destination but nothing works when clicking on either image or button. If I right click I can access the link.

    I went rounds and rounds with Fatcow and even completely started over by deactivating any and all plugins AND recreated with a new theme. I then activated WP Builder to create my design on the Books and Contact pages, nothing works. Back and forth with fatcow, deactivated everything, only activated the WP Builder.

    Now fatcow says to contact the plugin maker, tried that and I just get looped around with no support pages, forums or help found. Just a bunch of broken links. SOMEBODY PLEASE HELP or SUGGEST A DIFFERENT WAY!!!! This is a VERY SIMPLE SITE, shouldn’t be this F$*#ing hard!!!

    i can’t login to my word press site it keeps telling server not found why what did i not do right please am almost frustrated and confuse please i need help what shouldi do to solve these problem
