Links not working with WP 4.0 Benny

Yes,
there were problems.
1st – Read https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/143-update-removed-my-background-image?replies=4 – you are using Hueman lite version.

2nd – https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/is-hueman-compatible-with-wp-40?replies=14

– Hueman itself (use full version from previous link)doesn’t have issues with WP4.0, but a lot of plugins does.
My advice – update to full Hueman 2.18 (at the moment), if it doesn’t helps, deactivate plugins 1 by 1, and you will find out which one is causing problem.

In short – Hueman is 100% compatible with “Benny” (to me, sounds like pat’s name, though I appreciate Mr. Goodman and jazz generally)
– rest is up to plugin developers (we all use plugins, don’t we ?)
So, no “theme fix” is coming – reconsider all written above, theme itself is OK with “Benny”.

Okay, thanks again for the help. What I did was turn off plugins one by one (without doing the upgrade to the full version of Hueman) and found that the culprit is ‘Comprehensive Map Plugin’ from Alex Zagniotov. When this is deactivated, the site works fine and I can add new links no problem. I’ll let Alex know and see if there’s an update. In the meantime I’ll carry on with the lite versions and do the full upgrade later when the site is complete.

Guess I was lucky not using too many plugins, so I updated painful to 4.0
Yes, you should update to full version (as you finish the website) – more options included + more regularly updated than lite one.
