The odd thing is, I looked through the code in the php for the footer in editor and the code for the link that’s driving me nuts isn’t in there.

What theme are you using? Where did you download it from?

esmi: that was set up before I took over this website, so I’m not actually sure, I would assume directly from wordpress? It’s a basic theme, so maybe it comes standard? New to all of this, so I don’t actually know.

There is no theme called “Basic” in https://www.ads-software.com/themes/ and it is definitely not one of the standard default themes.
