I am evaluating this plugin, and I cannot get the feed links to open in anything other than the current window – how do I set the default action to open in a new window?

Also, all the feeds I’m using are on the same topic (Infection Control), but I’d like to use shortcodes (such as [wp-rss-aggregator filter=”ebola”] and [wp-rss-aggregator filter=”E. coli”]) to configure individual pages to list only the filtered topic area – can the “Keyword Filtering” add-on accomplish this task?

In the plugin settings, from your WordPress admin > RSS Aggregator > Settings, you can find an option called Source link behaviour.

And yes, keyword filtering allows you to use the filter parameter to include filtering before displaying imported items.

Yup, tried setting “Source link open behaviour” to “New window” or “Lightbox” with no success.

I am using Divi 2.0 with the latest update . . . another popular RSS plugin opens its links in a new window or lightbox without issue.

I am facing the same problem. It was working fine previously. I guess the problem has started after I updated the plugin yesterday.

I am using Vantage theme (latest version) and wordpress 3.9.2.

Ok, the bug has been fixed, the fix will be released in the next version. Thanks for reporting it.

Encountered this issue as well, looking forward to the update release

And I thought I was just going crazy! Thanks SO MUCH for the quick response – I’ll be purchasing the add-ons package based on your support.
