  • If you post the links as “text” – they show up as text.
    You need to use the normal html anchor tags “a href…” etc.

    I understand that. That’s fine, but the majority of users would not be aware of that. Is there a way to force a url to show as a link, instead of plain text. My message boards all work that way, as do many blogs that I have seen.

    I thought the purpose of blogging was to enable linking to useful, topical, and interesting material. What’s the point of posting a url as text? Shouldn’t WordPress automatically convert anything with an https:// in front of it to a hyperlink?
