• My client created his wordpress website and many if not all of the pages show on the SEMrush report show that the links are nofollow. We have both checked the HTML and there is no nofollow command. SEMrush, however sent a screenshot showing the nofollow in the source code. I need to fix all these nofollow links to follow links.

    I would appreciate timely assistance on this matter.

    It sounds like your theme or a plugin is injecting the link directives since core WP doesn’t do that on its own. To narrow down the culprit, switch to a default twenty* theme and deactivate all plugins. Be aware that browser and server caching could confuse this investigation. Caches should be flushed or disabled.

    You should now see no link directives. Restore your normal theme and plugins, one at a time, checking for link directives after each. When they reappear, the last activated module is the cause. Seek additional help through its dedicated support channel.
