Links to certain page as broken

Is this about 404s of the same site, like a private post for example?
Or about 404s in general, from 3rd party sites as well?
Please advise!

The 404’s I’m talking about in this thread is to a certain page of my website.

The name is named “Niet gevonden” what’s Dutch for “Not Found”.

But my website also uses links to external pages.

Yes, the plugin will alert you to any site links that result in a 404; doesn’t matter if the page that displays the 404 is a custom one or not, it’s still a 404. ??

And yes, it will also alert you to any external links that are broken and return a 404.

For example, this screenshot shows 3 broken links on one of my test sites; including one image link, one page link, and a broken link to a different site:
