Whenever I send links to pics in my galleries the recipients get the following error message.

    It appears you don’t have
    permission to access this page.

    403 Error. Forbidden.

I used to do this all the time with no problems but shortly after the problematic update a few months back this started happening and I can’t figure out what the problem is.

    PLEASE HELP….

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Dear @ctruc,

    The lightbox works properly.
We doubt the issue comes from the gallery plugin.

Would you please deactivate the photo gallery and then open the same link again?
If it shows the error again it is definitely not related to our product.

Please let us know how it worked.

    Sincerely,

Not sure what you mean by the lightbox working fine? Nor that you “doubt” the problem revolves around the gallery. What else would it involve when the hyperlink doesnt pull up the pic from the gallery? As mentioned earlier, I can open the links most times from whatever computer i’m sending them from, but as a receiver from another device I receive that same 403 error.

I tried deactivation of the plugin as instructed which I had already done and it has no affect. Further, non of the other pics on the site are involved. ONLY PICS IN THE GALLERY are causing this sporadic error.

    Dear @ctruc,

    Thank you for your response.

Please deactivate the plugin and click this link (taken from your gallery)

If it still shows the same error, you have permission issues that are not related to the gallery.

As I mentioned previously, the issue occurs SOMETIMES whether the Gallery is activated or not……..

    Dear @ctruc,

    Sorry for the belated response.

If you deactivate the photo gallery plugin and still get a 403 error, it means there is a permission issue coming from your hosting provider.
Please refer to your hosting provider to get more details.

    Sincerely,
