links to web pages not performing as expected

    I’m replacing an out of date Twitter plugin with “Feed Them Social”. The live site above still has the old plugin and you can see that the second tweet (starting Data protection ‘shake-up’ takes aim at cookie pop-ups – BBC News) shows an image of the BBC web page that it links to.

    I may be doing something wrong, but when I put the Twitter feed from “Feed Them Social” in, the image of the web page isn’t shown. Is there a setting to turn this on? Or is this feature not available?

    Hi @trevorwood,

    Thank you for bringing this issue to our attention. Our developers will have to look at the Twitter API and see if something changed in regard to showing shared tweet images.

    We will get back to you upon a resolution.

    Has this been fixed yet? It appears to still not be working for some tweets. The live site mentioned above is showing an image for the tweet about a new emergency hotline, but my test site isn’t, although it is showing images for some older tweets

    Our developers have just pushed an update for the Feed Them Social version 2.9.6.5. Updating to this version should resolve the Twitter issue.

    Also a big thanks for bringing this to our attention. It was just the thing I needed to get it fixed and add some new style to update the feed as well.
