lion server problems

Hi,

So my question is why can I not install plugins on lion server install of wordpress, or more precisely how can I get this working?

I have seen a couple of posts explaining why it is asking for ftp login (instance of wordpress not running as the same user as the owner of the files), but I don’t know how to set this up. I have done the dseditgroup and launchctl from terminal but still no joy.

how do I find out who wordpress is running as? Can I change who wordpress runs as?

please help!
