• Hi at all!

I want to define a custom page type, which replaces the “home” of a language as i can`t use them. The blog is part of a larger site an the url-pattern has to fit into.

The root directory of the wp-installation is domain.com, but the index should be a directory /blog/. (domain.com an e.g. domain.com/it/ is the index of the main project. The wp-admin is accessible with an domain2.com. I use the plugin anyhost.)

The url structure I have to work with:

    default language > domain.com/blog/(index)
    more languages > domain.com/it/blog/(index)
    more languages2 > domain.com/fr/blog/(index)

To generate /it/ or /fr/ I use the polylang option, the virtual /blog/ is generated by the wp-option “slug”. So domain.com/fr/blog/ does not exist.

As a solution I would define a new post-type and list all post as e.g. domain.com/fr/ does.

Is there an example listing the post of a given language?

Or is there a better solution for my problem?

    Thanx
