    hi there,

I have been trying to get this plugin to work and sync with my products so when someone makes a purchase, they will be able to subscribe to our newsletter and be added to the specific list.

Now when i check the settings, i get this error: Warning: include_once(/home/rachelye/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/admin/partials/tabs/errors/missing_api_key.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/rachelye/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/admin/partials/tabs/api_key.php on line 7

Warning: include_once(): Failed opening ‘/home/rachelye/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/admin/partials/tabs/errors/missing_api_key.php’ for inclusion (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php72/pear’) in /home/rachelye/public_html/wp-content/plugins/mailchimp-for-woocommerce/admin/partials/tabs/api_key.php on line 7

Could you plase help me figure out why my plugin isn’t working properly.

    Thanks

    Jeff

Hi there, we’re happy to help. Just to get a handle on the situation you’re experiencing, could you provide a few more pieces of information to help us understand the issue?

    – What plugin version are you running?
    – Is your site self-hosted, or is it a wordpress.com business account?
    – What version of WooCommerce are you running?
    – Is there any logging errors in the plugin’s logs tab (when it’s set to standard or debug)?
    – Have you tried to uninstall or reinstall?

Thanks in advance for these details. I’ll keep an eye out for your reply.

    HI Kyle,

    Please find my answers:

    – What plugin version are you running? Version 2.1.7
    – Is your site self-hosted, or is it a wordpress.com business account? self-hosted through sitegroud.com
    – What version of WooCommerce are you running? Version 3.4.3
    – Is there any logging errors in the plugin’s logs tab (when it’s set to standard or debug)? in the logs itself, it says that the products sync successfully but i dont see it under the sync tab. it shows “0” under products, and lists.
    – Have you tried to uninstall or reinstall? yes i have, multiple times.

    Thanks

Hey Jeff, thank you for those details. We’ve actually had a few reports from Sitground users that either they’ve run out of CPU “credits” on their subscription plan or Siteground has blocked access to the admin-ajax.php file from being called. The admin-ajax.php file is required for the plugin to work properly for the initial sync of products/orders and submitting events after that’s complete. If you’re out of “credits” it would also prevent the queues from functioning properly.

When you get a chance, please reach out to them and see if either those is something that may be happening on your account as well. If you can, please report back and let us know how it goes.

    Thanks,
    Kyle

    HI there,

i just spoke with my hosting company and they said that everything is normal and that we have the correct permissions for that ajax.php file.

@jayxcamps thanks for bringing this up – we’ll get that fixed up quickly – but for right now lets try to troubleshoot your API key error. Have you been able to use your API key with POSTMAN? Just wanted to make sure that you don’t need to create another key or not.

Have you tried creating another API key in your MailChimp account and using that one instead?

@jayxcamps just another ping to see if you’ve been able to use that API key in something like POSTMAN to validate that your account doesn’t have something going on at a lower level? Have you been able to test that out yet? We will be implementing that fix I mentioned in our next release but that’s not the root problem of why your key doesn’t seem to work – so we just wanted to make a few more attempts at solving this for you before we release the next version.
