List Archives with Excerpt and image

Hello, I don’t know where to start on this.

I want to build an archives page and I want the archives page to be show the post title & date. Under it I would like an excerpt from the post. To the left, I would like an image snagged from anywhere inside the post (not necessarily the post image).

I don’t need it to list anythings specific such as monthly archives, or yearly archives.

Does anyone know how to do this, or to do part of this?
