    I’m not as experienced as many of you are and I need some help.

    I have been asked to make a To Do List, which would be a category or a post.

    The boss wants to be able to click on one label and be able to send a message to the whole list.

    Also he wants to be able to send individual posts to people in more of a to do, for specific people.

    I haven’t figured out how a person can make a post, except by going through admin, and the dashboard. I know there must be a better way but don’t know what.

  • I’m not sure if WordPress is the best software for a working group ToDo list, but I think I would do it like this: ( a first and dirty attack ??

    Create a category todo
    Create sub categories for the group and all coworkers like
    todo-for-all for ToDo messages to the group
    todo-bosse for Bosse
    todo-sonja for Sonja
    …
    When the boss wants to see all todo’s he/she clicks on the parent todo category

    Posting in WordPress can be done by anyone who has author rights. It can be done via the dashboard or by using some other widget, such as Performancing for firefox.

    Temporarily I am using a list, that sort of works. Thanks for the help petit.
