List not loading

Hello
Thanks for the plugin.
When setting the list of files to show with the thumbnails, the page doesn’t load.
When removing the thumbnails (via the shortcode) the list displays.
Do you know why?
Is it a server memory issue?
IS there a way to have pagination – not to load the complete list?
