    Hello,

I’m using fastCGI cache and it is caching the product pages, so the option to “Automatically switch customers to their local currency” in WooPayments is nulled. The currency doesn’t change on the product page, neither does the alert banner appear.

For this reason, can I kindle get a list of all cookies used by WooPayments so that I can just exclude all from caching?

    Thank you!

    Hello,

Configuring your caching plugin as outlined in the WooCommerce guide linked below should be enough for WooPayments to work correctly:

    https://woocommerce.com/document/configuring-caching-plugins/

Make sure your setup is following that guide and let us know if the issue persists.

    Hello Paulo,

I’ve done everything in the guide, except excluding WooCommerce session from the cache and am still having the issues. I didn’t find a way to exclude that session in fastCGI with Webinoly.

The prices and currency don’t change and the banner doesn’t change either.

Only the first cached price/ currency/ banner is displayed (i.e. if I load the page from a US IP, then all are in USD and then when I try a UK IP and everything should display in GBP, it doesn’t, and still displays in USD).

    What else can I do?

    Hello,

I recommend temporarily disabling any caching, so you can test if the WooPayments currency switching feature is working as expected on your site.

Here’s the relevant documentation for reference: https://woocommerce.com/document/woopayments/currencies/multi-currency-setup/

Let us know what you find.

Yes, I’ve of course tried that and it works as expected with caching disabled.

Great, thanks for confirming. In that case, I recommend that you test a different caching tool (WP Super Cache, for example) and see if you get a different result.

After trying all caching plugins & solutions I decided to go without caching for a while because I couldn’t find a solution.

But since caching is important, I’ve now tried WP-Rocket, but again, I’m faced with the same issue.

I’ve read everything there is in your documentation and I’ve disabled caching for the following cookies:
    – woocommerce_cart_hash
    – woocommerce_items_in_cart
    – wp_woocommerce_session_
    – woocommerce_recently_viewed
    – store_notice

I’ve also contacted WP-Rocket and they said that WooPayments isn’t supported.

There are so many other smaller plugin developers supported by all these caching plugins & solutions.

It’s kind of sad that the WooPayments team isn’t working on being properly integrated with a caching solution, since this is so important.

    Hi there @vladc-1 ??

Thank you for reaching back, with further details on this.

I’d recommend taking a look at this document, titled “Configuring caching plugins”, along with this one, on “Troubleshooting a slow site”.

Additionally, feel free to take Woo Express for a spin.

I trust that points you in the right direction, but if you have more questions, let us know.

    We’re happy to help.
