List of available icons not showing in “add icon” for the home icon menu

  • Hi!

    When I’m in the Home layout / Home icon menu section I’m available to pick from a list of icons for my first option in the home icon menu.

    But when I click the “add icon” button to add more menu options, the list of available icons to choose from disappears. My only option is to upload a new icon image from my computer. Is this a bug?

    Hey mebol,
    What version of the theme are you using? Ensure that it is the most recent. If you are already on the latest version I would suggest deactivating your plugins to test if any are interfering. Let me know if there’s no change.

    I have the same problem since last update – version 2.8.1 that is.

    I tried deactivating the plugins and briefly had a success with WP Maintenance Mode, but when I tried to add a third icon there was no selector anymore, and activating/deactivating that plugin did not work anymore.

    I noticed the problem building a new site, but I have two demo sites featuring Virtue and working splendidly, and I checked on them: even in those if I try to add a new icon the icon selector is missing.

    Can you fathom what’s going on?

    So it seems this is a bug. I’ll talk to the theme developer and we’ll work on getting an update out real soon. For now, just create multiple items then save your theme options without selecting the icons. After that refresh the page and you should see the select box.

    Dear Hannah,

    I can’t add more than one icon in Home Icon Menu section. When I click on “Add Icon” button, there is no response. Is it a bug ? Please help me to solve this problem.

    What version of the theme are you using? Did you try the workaround I relayed above?
