• First of all, thank you for your plugin. I use it for my website Taiwan-bear.com I like the interface and the facebook function.

However, I have to admit I have a lot of bugs with the new standard version. ?? Before the version 2, I had to remove the plugin because it made my website very slow ! (2.5 seconds of loading with the plugin instead of 0.5 second without).

Now with the new version, it is far better ! Good news. But I have a lot of other bugs. I can’t show all of them because the plugin crashes after a few minutes. So the biggest crash is caused by this error in my wordpress admin panel:

The specified file “agenda-widget.twig” doesn’t exist.

exception ‘Ai1ec_Exception’ with message ‘The specified file “agenda-widget.twig” doesn’t exist.’ in /public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar/lib/theme/loader.php:251

I uninstalled and installed the plugin again: same problem. It always crashes by itself after 10/15 minutes.

Also, I have noticed other problems:

    – impossible to import events from facebook groups (from friends and pages, it works fine). It says there is an error in the importation, that’s it. But it was also the case before the version 2.

    – impossible to switch between the different version of the calendars on the interface (month, day, posterboard, switch). I can click on the arrow, nothing happens. It is a conflict with my theme (GavernWP) because it works fine with Twenty Fourteen.

    – on the monthly calendar, nothing happens when I click on the events (works well on the stream, posterboard and on the widget calendar). Same thing: doesn’t happen with Twenty Fourteen.

    – the CSS of the posterboard and the stream don’t seem to work at first, right after I install the plugin. I had to manipulate the theme options and then it worked fine.

I would like to help to improve the program by giving more details. So don’t hesitate to ask.

I also haven’t tried to see if there is any plugin conflict. I will try to do that later.

  • Please keep us posted when you resolved the crashing issue – I’m having the same problem! Super annoying!

    Sure ! ??

Apparently, there will be an update on monday that will fix some bugs. So I am waiting for it.

@jckeckard for the “agenda-widget.twig” error we should be release something we hope it fixes it as we can’t replicate that and thus it’s difficult to understand what’s happening.

-import from facebook groups works for me https://take.ms/ZZIy3 – please check for plugin conflict

-theme conflicts: i don’t remember if on our forums there is a section for that, if i can see the calendar in action i might check what happens

-Css of posterboard and stream – thanks for reporting, i can’t replicate but probably something went wrong with CSS compilation when activating, we will take a look

    Thanks for your answer !

I will wait for the update and then hope it will work. I can then show my calendar in action and shows you what doesn’t work.

I will also check for the plugin conflicts with the facebook groups problem.

    I ll keep you updated.

I have desactivated all my plugins. But I still have the error when importing events from facebook groups:

“An error message occurred when saving Entrepreneurs francophones de Taiwan data to the db”

    (one error per group displayed)

I am also getting the error:

“The specified file “agenda-widget.twig” doesn’t exist.”

The site was initially on a local server, and once we put the site live the error occurred.

Hey everyone, I’ve just fixed the problem for me. It was to do with an incorrect path in the “wp_options” table.

When I moved the site from local to live, the option_name “ai1ec_current_theme” had our local paths in the option_value.

I simply updated these to the correct live paths and the problem went away.

Incidentally, the “Theme Options” page wasn’t showing correctly before, which is what led me to check any path settings here. Good luck and let me know if it fixes it for you.

    (@jcdeckard)

It’s not related to that on my side. I have checked the path on my side: it is correct.

I also installed the plugin directly on internet. I didn’t move the site from local to live with the plugins.

Do you get a blank page when you go to “Theme Options”?

    Thread Starter jcdeckard

    (@jcdeckard)

Not at all. Everything works fine there.

I have tried to activate and desactivate “Exclude events from search results”. So far, it works (but maybe it will crash later… wait and see).

    It has crashed ! ??

We released 2.0.5 can you please test it?

    Thread Starter jcdeckard

    (@jcdeckard)

Sure. But can you provide the download link ? It’s still the 2.0.4 on https://time.ly/.

Big problem with the new version and the facebook plugin. It crashes completely my website. Here is the error:

Fatal error: Class Ai1ecFacebookConnectorPlugin contains 1 abstract method and must therefore be declared abstract or implement the remaining methods (Ai1ec_Connector_Plugin::get_tab_title) in /home/jcdeckar/public_html/wp-content/plugins/all-in-one-event-calendar-facebook-integration/lib/calendar-feeds/facebook.php on line 12

What is the best way to upgrade from 2.0.4 to 2.0.5 safely without losing content? I’ve downloaded the .zip file – now what?
