List of categories with post contents

  • https://samanthazalaznick.com shows what I’m trying to do. First you see the WP-generated list of my categories. Below that is a styled accordion menu of static html that shows what I want for my final product. Each external link within that menu would be the content of a WordPress Post (at least, that’s how I’m imagining it). That page is for browsing by Topics, I’d have another page for browsings posts by Publications.

    This is my category structure:

    • Topics
    • Entertainment / TV
    • Interviews
    • Posts
    • Recaps
    • Mad Men
    • Modern Family
    • Restaurants / Bars
    • Where-To Guides
    • Listings
    • Videos
  • Publications
    • Huffington Post
    • New York Magazine

    I also want to be able to add new subcategories and have them show up automatically, so the code needs to look at all categories and child categories and child posts and display everything automatically in nested lists.

    How do I start going about building this??
