List of Specific pages to appear in side bar

  • Hi, I wanted to make a tutorial site like tutorialspoint, so is it possible to create a list of pages showing in side bar for a specific category like java has its related pages in sidebar, php has its related pages shown in sidebar. if so how can i achieve this using custom sidebar, i am ok with the current method of custom sidebar just wanted to add a custom feature to the pages widget of the side bar is it possible through custom sidebar, if so how?

  • Hello @anshik! Thank you for using Custom Sidebars. All you need to do is create a custom sidebar and add the widget you would like to use to show the related pages. If you are working with posts and categories you can use the categories widget. If pages, use the custom menu option or list pages and exclude the ones you don’t want to display.

    These are some of the widgets you can use. You do not need all of them. It just really depends on your set up. I hope that helps!
