List podcasts in blog

    Hello.
    I’m trying to add the episodes of my podcast to my website’s blog but even checking the ‘Include podcast in main blog’ in Podcast->Settings, I can’t get it.
    You say his setting may behave differently in each theme, ok, I’m using the Definition theme (by WooThemes) so maybe this is causing the issue…

    Could you tell me how can I solve it?

    Hi Alberto

    You’d need to add the episodes of your podcasts as ‘Posts’ on your site in order for them to show up as a standard blog post.

    You can do this by navigating to Podcast -> Settings and checking the ‘Posts’ checkbox under the ‘Podcast post types’ section.

    From there, you’ll be able to create a post and fill out your podcast details which will show up in your standard blog feed.

    Including regular blog posts in the settings area will however include those standard Posts in both your /podcast page as well as your podcast feed.

    For a post (regardless of type) to be included in the /podcast page and podcast specific RSS feed it needs to be included in the Podcast Post Types section (by default Podcast post types are automatically included), and need to have a valid media file URL in the Podcast Episode Details area.

    I have a similar issue.

    I have my rss page.

    But i was hoping to have the podcast episodes ALSO show up as blog posts in a scrolling format. And, I wanted to maybe have a page with certain episodes. I tried to use the shortcode for the series to populate a page with the episodes. It didn’t work.

    I am having the same issue. I would like for all my podcast to list on a podcast page that I have created. drjoyblog.com
