List posts in a particular month

  • Maybe this has been answered before but I really couldn’t find the answer (so any help showing me the way would be well appreciated).

    Basically I’m trying to show a list of the actual post titles in any particular month in the archives page dedicated for that particular month. The default shows you the excerpts of the particular month if you click on the month, however I’d also like to show a list of the titles of these posts on the sidebar as well (with full date if that’s not too much bother).

    The closest I’ve come to is Shawn’s Clean Archives (https://www.sporadicnonsense.com/2005/04/28/clean-archives-plug-in/), but I want to strip the rest of the archives an make it so that on a particular page on that particular month’s posts will show up as a list.

    Any ideas?

    Man, I’m not really sure how you could accomplish that. I’m sure it is possible though. Maybe get with Chris J. Davis. If anyone would know it would be the great wookie =)

    If you edit your archive.php template file and eliminate from the Loop everything else but the titles… wouldn’t that be exactly what you want?
