    Hello and good day.

Is there a way to have WP Lister list and markup the sales price instead of the regular price?

I have the regular prise set as the retail price.

However, I have the sales prices set as my actually selling price.

The reason being, I want to show customers on my site what the retail price is but that they are actually purchasing at the sales price.

However, when I list on ebay, I want it to list (and apply markup) to the sales price, not the retail price.

    Is that possible?

    Hi @rayeason

I am sorry but no, if you have a sale price enabled in WC, that over rides all other prices and price modifications. You can disable the use of a sale price for eBay prices by disabling the “Use sale price” on the advanced settings page of WP-Lister, but that wouldn’t solve your issue.

You are welcome to open a feature request to be able to modify the sale price in WC when listing to eBay here though: https://www.wplab.com/feature-requests/ – if enough users vote on it, we will look to implement such a feature.

I will say though, I don’t recall a single user asking for this feature before.

    Kind regards,
    John

They may have been a little backwards as I was trying to reverse engineer this issues.

I am essentially wanting to mark up my costs and not my retail price on ebay.

I want to offer my normal website visitors the discounted sales price (while showing the regular price and the savings).

However, when I sell on ebay, my selling costs are more (promotional fee, listing fees and any buyer discounts). So I need my margins to be larger than my website.

So with that said, is there a way to markup my cost instead of the regular price?

I guess, worse case scenario, I could mark up the sales price. As you said, the sales price overrides all over ebay prices.

    That should work, correct?

Quick question: There is a field in the product section for “eBay Price” in addition to Price and Sale Price.

I entered my cost into the eBay price field.

When from the eBay listings tab in WP Lister, it shows the price I entered in the eBay Price section. However, it did not add the markup percent I specified in markup.

Does this eBay price not get affected by the profile markup?

    Hi @rayeason

Yes, that should work, increasing the sale price.

You could use that “ebay price” field as well, but in order for your markup in the listing profile to take effect on that field’s price you need to set the “Apply profile to eBay price” setting on the advanced settings page of WP-Lister to “Yes” – then revise the listings again.

    Kind regards,
    John
