List Sub Categories (LSC) – show subcategorys when within category pages

I am new to WP(learning as I go), trying to use LSC plugin to show sub-category navigation as a widget. I am using Oxygen theme, and am using Category Page and Category Page Extender to allow for posts to land on category “blog” pages. I think that LSC should show the sub-categories of the parent category page so that you can navigate to the other sub-categories of the parent category page.

After installing the LSC plugin and identifying the main category IDs, the widget appears to show the categories and sub-categories of all existing posts, not just the sub-categories of the parent category page.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
