List Terms of Custom Taxonomy

Hi! Thanks for writing the forums.

How comfortable are you with using a plugin, or with adding php/function code to WordPress?

How about either trying a widget that will list taxonomy terms, or using a custom code snippet to do it?…

(as in these two suggestions linked below)

(Plugin) “List Custom Taxonomy Widget” https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/list-custom-taxonomy-widget/

(Note: I got these two options from googling “wordpress how to list custom taxonomies” on bing search ( https://www.bing.com/search?q=wordpress+how+to+list+custom+taxonomies ), and they were in the links that came up)

@mjjojo: the question wasn’t meant in the general sense, but has been posted to the forum associated with my plugin called a-z-listing. Hence, the question is pointedly about how to list taxonomy terms using my plugin.

@fadingmusic: currently you need to get your hands-dirty using PHP, as the shortcode cannot target taxonomies yet. To display all the terms in the taxonomy whose slug is ‘my-taxonomy’ you need to place code similar to the following within a theme template file:

the_a_z_listing( 'my-taxonomy' );

Hello mjjojo (mjassen), I’m not a code-guru, but I know my way around.
