List testimonials from a category

  • I’m using the plugin to put a testimonials slider on multiple pages of a site, and list them on a single Testimonials page.

    I would like to segregate the posts on this page by category. Unfortunately, the [testimonialList] and [testimonialrecent] shortcodes don’t seem to work with the category slug (catg_slug=”xyz”) or ID. Is there a way to get this done?

    Actually, just figured it out after going through the third page of posts on the Support forum. I need to use the [testimonialListCategory catg_slug=’cat1′ set=”1″] shortcode. That seems to be working.

    Actually, I did run into one issue. Not sure if I should start a new thread, so do let me know if you want me to.

    The content settings (number of characters, link, etc.) apply to all sliders and even the list on the page. Is there a way to have the character limit and link apply only to the sliders, but keep full text (and no link) in the list? I want to link users to the testimonials page from the slider, so that the content can be limited in the slider, but complete on the page.
