    Test Site https://redimage.net/testing3/programme/
    Public ID [email protected]

This site test is using the following
    Theme – Twenty Sixteen v 1.3
    Plugins – Simple Calendar v 3.1.4

    No other plugins are active

    NOTE
Between June 2 2016 and 9 February 2017 all events occur on a Thursday Evening
Navigating forwards from today produces the next page to show the first event to be on a Wednesday. After that they appear correctly as a Thursday
Navigating backwards from today shows all the first events to be on a Wednesday.

@ianyork Thanks for the details. We were able to repeat the bug.

I thought it might be PHP 5.3, but I was able to repeat on PHP 5.6 locally. I still highly recommend having your host upgrade PHP when you can.

The culprit here is the setting you have at Advanced > Timezone > Events source default.

See the warning message below this setting. It states exactly what happens. This setting doesn’t work for everyone.

Do things work as expected if you set the timezone to the site default or a custom timezone?

    Hi Phil,

unfortunately it does not change anything. I tried “event source default” and “site default” and cleared cache every time after the settings have changed.
Server has UTC as time zone. Site time zone ist Berlin which means UTC+2.

    Best regards

Nina – Can you post your public calendar ID as well?

Problem … I could only give you the link to the google calender. The wordpress page is for members only

    Link to google calender: https://www.google.com/calendar/ical/v0fc4sdjuhc4jiuh3bcarc58mc%40group.calendar.google.com/private-5b40651012434756be0c865fd3eb1f20/basic.ics

[calendar id=”12290″] if it helps anyhow

Nina – The google calendar ID [email protected] is working for testing. Thanks for sending.

Everyone with this issue – We’re part-way through a fix now, but it is taking a little longer to test everything.

Once we have something we may need a few beta testers. Please reply if you’d like to beta test before we release. That would help us out a lot.

The amendment has not solved the issue on our main site

I have 2 links showing the problem
    1 – My current Settings – https://stroudcameraclub.co.uk/123calendar123/
    2 – a test page on the main site – https://stroudcameraclub.co.uk/test-calendar/

On the main site I removed all the plugins and reverted back to Twenty Sixteen theme, but the problem still persisted.

Going backwards, and amount, the top event is listed as 1 day too early.
Going Forwards 1 month the first event is listed as 1 day too really.
Going forwards 2 months, all is OK
when you then go backwards the previous months are all shown as 1 day early for the top event.

Everyone – This is all related to time zone issues, so at this point it would be helpful to post the following:

    – Your public Google calendar ID (if you haven’t already).
    – Your Google calendar’s timezone (above where you retrieved your Google calendar ID in your Google calendar settings – not in WordPress).
    – Your WordPress site’s timezone (under Settings > General in WP admin).
    – Your Simple Calendar timezone setting for this specific calendar. Most leave this as site default, but if you changed to Custom please post.

    Thanks.

OK I think it’s fixed, but I would love a few beta testers to be certain.

Here’s the download for Simple Calendar 3.1.5-beta1:

I was a bit previous with my statement
The days of the week are OK
However the start times are now one hour early as there is a mismatch with the WordPress default date and the Plugin dat

    I have found the problem

    The following code works
    [title]
    [when]
    at [location]
    [description]

where as my coding below which I had been using – comes out as one hour early –
    [event-title]
    [start-time] at [if-location][location]</span>[/if-location]
    [if-description]
    [description]
    [/if-description]
