We are currently operating on the most recent version (2.2.1) of the plugin and are seeing some odd date sort issues when displayed within the List View.

    Example: https://www.saintedmunds.org/news-events/calendar/

The page content area for /calendar/ page is using the default shortcode that is pulling in a very basic feed as setup within the GCal Events post type.

We are a bit stumped because it looks like just a few dates are randomly being thrown within the ASC list out of order but not the entire list.

Update: Actually it seems to be all day events that are in the correct sort-order but are displaying the wrong date in the list view. Any ideas on a fix would be helpful.

    Thanks for your assistance.

Hey thanks for letting us know. I took a look at your site and see what you are talking about right at the top. There is a March 16th event and then it goes to March 15th for some reason.

Do you mind sharing the settings you are using so I can try to replicate this behavior?

    Thanks!

This seems to happen with dates that are all day – that don’t have a specific time.
I noticed this too! If you can add a time, the date will display correctly, for some reason.

How are you adding an all day event without a time? I would like to test that out.

    Thanks!

    Hi Nick,

When you go into your Google Calendar you have the option to tick a box (for the event) that says “All day”. If you tick that box than you can only place in a date range that the calendar event spans.

Here is an example of what we see:

Thanks for your assistance on this.

Hey we just pushed an update and I did some work with the dates. Is it still a problem on the latest version?

Yes – it works now when number of events is chosen from the widget., which didn’t work before. Thank you!!!

THanks for confirming glad it it is working for you now! ??

P.S. If you get a chance would you mind leaving a plugin review (if you haven’t already)? It helps a ton.

    Hi Nick,

Thank you for the adjustment to the plugin. It looks like it may not have resolved all day events in our install.
We just updated to the newest version (2.2.2.1), cleared cache both on the site and within the feed, and are still experiencing the issue with an incorrect date on just the All Day events. They are displaying in the correct order in the list but wrong date.

I have attached an evernote snapshot showing a side by side with the site listing and the agenda view within google.

    Thanks again for your help.

Out of curiosity what is the event builder codes you are using?

    Hi Nick,

I feel so dumb on this. It looks like we had an end-date tag in place where it should have been a start-date tag. This must have accidentally happened when we were testing the All-Day events out of order in the list.

    Extremely sorry about that.

Thanks again for the update that fixed the order.

    Best,
