You can see, in May, that the first column of the list view says THU 20 no matter the correct dates of the exhibitions. That started when I switched from legacy views. I’m using latest wordpress 7.2 and updated TEC tonight, but still happening. You can see on the previous events (called exhibitions here) the dates in that column correctly represent the start date of the event. This has been happening for about a month, cleared cache, server and browser. I like the new views so much better, but this has been an issue since switching.

    Thank you for reaching out.
    Yikes! That’s not good.

Could you tell me which theme you are using?
Also, are there any customizations in place for The Events Calendar?
Would you mind sharing the date format you are using under Events > Settings > Display?

Last but not least, there are a couple of things I would recommend to pinpoint the issue:

    Doh. I missed this reply.
Using PressCustomizr theme, pretty stable and widely used. (100k+ users)
resaved permalinks, the only customization is that events are called exhibitions.
I do have a staging site, but testing out a new feature there, so, too many eyes are on it at the moment. All plugins are up to date and widely used too, only 14 plugins. Using classic editor, Yoast, addthis, nimble page builder, which is from customizr folks, but not using it in the calendar area.

    @geoffbel date formats:
    Dates with year: F j, Y
    dates wo year: F j
month and year separator: F j.
    lmk if you need more.

I’m sorry, I set up an email filter for wp emails, and lost them, but I would love to get this sorted, as we’ve got a bunch of events up now, and it doesn’t make much sense. Not using any other events calendar plugins, either,
    Thanks,
    Wendy

@geoffbel I’ve deleted your offer to login to your user’s site. I’m am 100% sure you mean well but please never ask for credentials on these forums.

    https://www.ads-software.com/support/guidelines/#the-bad-stuff

Now for the why: The internet is a wonderful place full of very nice people and a few very bad ones. I’m sure everyone here is very nice however, by giving some ones keys to your house you are trusting they wont steal anything. Likewise the person who takes the keys is now responsible for the house FOREVER.

If something was to go wrong, then you the author may well legally become liable for damages, which they would not normally have been as their software is provided without warranty.

Please be aware that repeatedly asking for credentials will result in us escalating this to the plugins team.

It’s never necessary to do that. Here’s why.

There are many ways to get information you need and accessing the user’s site is not one of them. That’s going too far.

    You get the idea.

Volunteer support is not easy. But these forums need to a safe place for all users, experienced or new. Accessing their system that way is a short cut that will get you into real trouble in these forums.

And this is NOT resolved. All the basic troubleshooting steps have been done.

fyi, I wound up hiding that column with css. Nobody (users/viewers) could figure out why it was there, so I lost it.
