Listing drop down box

    The listing drop down box is crammed with all the categories, even if I am in the specific category and clicked – add a listing.

    Can I simply add a listing within the category, without needing to use the dropdown box that ignores that fact i am already within that category?

    If not:

    Is there a way I can at least modify the styling of this plugin to space them out in the drop down box or anything?

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @kristianngve,

    Sorry that you ran into issues here!

    You can’t just “add a listing into a category” as the Place Ad screen is not context-sensitive. It does expect that you select a category first.

    With that said, it might be helpful to see what you’re seeing. Can you show me a screenshot of the “crammed dropdown”? Does it look exactly like our demo here? https://awpcp.com/demo or is it different?

    If it’s the same, I’m not sure if there’s CSS available to fix that, but I can check with my developers. If it’s different, then there absolutely is a solution, and maybe a link to your site would help us find it.

    and the page i’d like you to see for the ‘Ad Category’ drop down list:

    It does look like the demo one, but at this size, it’s hard to find what is Wanted and what is Available.

    The best option I have, is if the Main categories above each section of subcategories were in bold with some suggested CSS. May you please ask the but your developers about that?

    UPDATE:

    RESOLVED.

    There is two drop downs which makes it super clear now.

    1st drop down is categories, second is Sub.
