Permalinks are ‘/%postname%/’ and no uppercase letters in taxonomy ID is created.

You have something html encoding your search URL. Try turning off all your other plugins.

It could be Polylang plugin that encodes the URL’s for the english part of the site, since it is working on the main language.

Try turning it off and see if the search works.

Yes it works then Polylang is deactivated.

I solved it. I had to change the settings in Polylang to make it work.
