How can we display all categories that the post falls under? Some posts fall under two categories that are the same hierarchy

This is not really supported out of the box by Breadcrumb NavXT. Normally, with location based breadcrumb trails (the ones Breadcrumb NavXT generates), the ‘one true path’ to a resource is what is represented. How do you envision these sibling terms appearing in the breadcrumb trail? In particular, how would the individual sibling categories be separated? The normal separator implies order/hierarchy, so it is not suitable for siblings.

I completely understand. I was asking because the client was asking, but I was able to create a very simple breadcrumb shortcode for the areas where they’re choosing 1+ category. (using a combination of these 2 tutorials, in case anyone is looking for it in the future: https://generatewp.com/snippet/1w21roe/ & https://edit.co.uk/blog/creating-a-really-simple-breadcrumb-function-for-pages-in-wordpress/)

I suppose sibling categories can be separated by a comma or user-chosen symbol (like a / or similar)! Just a thought for a feature in the future – though I know it doesn’t make sense for how you’re supposed to be structuring your WordPress site
