listing sorting parameters

    Hello,
    Which version does this and how to set it:

    I would like to have this searched and sorted by date of availability.

    Transportation company needs this to know which vehicle is available in certain date (date: from-to)

    After certain date this vehicle automaticaly disapears from the listing.

    Table of info in the listing:
    1.Date from – to
    2.Company name
    3.Contact person
    4.Type of vehicle (text field)
    5.Telephone
    6.City
    7.Country

    Of course, each time the user fills the date when the vehicle is again available.
    Any advice on how to set it?

    Is it possible to use Profile Builder for mentioned settings? What alternatives are to achieve similar result using profile builder.

    Sorry for the delay, Normally we’re keeping an eye over this forum, just that the past week we have a lot of support questions from our payed users.

    The Pro version allows for user listing with sorting by a certain date field.

    Unfortunately no. We’re only search for exact matches and a search within a date range is not possible.

    > After certain date this vehicle automaticaly disapears from the listing.
    Again, this is not possible with Profile Builder.

    From what I can tell, what you really need is a developer to implement this type of functionality exactly for you. (the user listing that is)

    Profile Builder can still help with the edit profile / registration pages, but our user list addon just isn’t as flexible as you need it.

    what do you mean: sorting by certain date field?
    how does it work?
    Any examples in document file? please provide link.

    So, if I want to show certain car available in certain date, such as (12.9.2012): Do I create date field in which users fill the actual date? and.. if the field is empty, then I will not see this car in listing, right?

    How would you manage this situation without a developer, please give me alternative.

    Hello,

    sorting after a date is not the best, it kinda only works if you have the year first, not last.

    You can see the userlisting in action here: https://testserver29.com/profilebuilderpro/userlisting/ – but there is no date set there.
